I've used this product for over 10 years. I couldn't live without it. With regular use, it is equivalent to having a micropeel.
Cons: your face will turn red and itching and be uncomfortable. You cannot go in the sun using this product, but I stay of the sun in general

I`ve worked in AHA`s, BHA`s, growth factors, peptides, retinol, every kind of antioxidant, and several other antiaging superstars into my daily regiment...including daily use of a minimum SPF 15 UVA/UVB broad spectrum sunscreen. And it`s finally plateaued. I knew I had to kick it up a notch so I started doing the research for my next ``buzz`` ingredient and finally decided it was time to work in a px strength retinoid. Every article I read, even if they were pushing other products, all pointed to the universally lauded efficacy of tretinoin. If you really have tried it all, it`s probably time to give px strength retinoids a shot.
Pros: Lightweight creamy texture instantly absorbs leaving a nicely hydrated matte finish. Layers nicely under other products. Very quickly you'll notice tighter pores, increased radiance, a brighter, more even skin tone, and plumper, more firm skin.
Cons: Really have to experiment with frequency of use...after one night of use (always use in the pm) wait until skin begins to flake or slough off dead skin cells (usually within 2-3 days). Make sure you're using very hydrating, soothing, antioxidant-oriented treatment products in the meantime (think Lauder's advanced night repair concentrate or Remergent's barrier repair) until skin stops flaking. Use the tretinoin again and repeat until you're skin is tolerating it to a point where no sloughing occurs and you can use it 3 - 4 nights a week. I'm still in the 1 - 2 nights a week stage but looking forward to continued improvement in results.
